Troops of the Nigerian Army, in collaboration with the Police, Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, and native vigilantes, have foiled an attempted terrorist infiltration of a army base in Zamfara State.
Security analyst, Zagazola Makama in his put up on X on Thursday stated safety sources acknowledged that the incident occurred at about 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at Forward Operating Base (FOB) Bukuyum in Bukuyum Local Government Area of the state.
According to Makama, “The sources said the troops, working alongside the other security agencies and local vigilantes, engaged the suspected terrorists during the attempted infiltration.”
He defined that the engagement reportedly compelled the attackers to flee in disarray.
