Edo North senator, Adams Oshiomhole, on Thursday blamed former President Olusegun Obasanjo and the African Democratic Congress, ADC, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, for the closure of industries in Nigeria.
Oshiomhole mentioned Obasanjo and Atiku’s administration was responsible for the closure of industries like Michelin and Dunlop, and turning Nigeria into an importing nation.
The All Progressives Congress, APC, chieftain made the declare through the APC presidential marketing campaign rally in Ekiti State.
He urged the folks of the state to vote for President Bola Tinubu in 2027, stressing that the present administration has accredited a brand new minimal wage for staff.
According to Oshiomhole: “Atiku Abubakar as Vice President was crying on television that his government and his oga, Obasanjo, that they spent $16 billion on power. So you ask Atiku how many more US dollars do you need?
“I perceive that Atiku is lamenting about unemployment, who closed down Nigerian industries? Who closed down Michelin? Who closed down Dunlop? Who lowered Nigeria to importer of the whole lot from underwear to socks? It was executed by the federal government and get together which Atiku belonged to.”
