Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, has mocked the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, presidential candidate, Peter Obi, describing him because the ‘president of social media’ who’s unfit to rule Nigeria.
Wike acknowledged this on Saturday throughout a city corridor interactive assembly with stakeholders in Rivers.
He stated that Peter Obi solely makes noise on social media with none tangible achievement to present for his time as governor.
“You are president of social media. You cannot rule Nigeria with social media,” Wike stated.
He argued that governance requires expertise, capability, and confirmed monitor information, which he claimed Obi lacks.
Wike additional acknowledged that these selling Obi on X, Facebook, and Instagram is not going to be there to assist him govern if elected.
According to him, Nigeria wants a pacesetter with sensible expertise, not one who depends on on-line reputation.
