The Social Studies Education Postgraduate Students’ Association of Nigeria (SSPSAN), University of Abuja Chapter, has pledged help for President Bola Tinubu and different political candidates within the 2027 common elections following the nomination of one among its members, Hon. Julius Adamu, as chairman of the FCT Universal Basic Education Board (UBEB).
The affiliation introduced its place at a press convention in Abuja yesterday, the place its chairman, Comrade Yakubu Muhammed Billa, thanked the minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, for nominating Adamu for the place.
Billa stated the nomination had inspired affiliation members, including that Adamu’s instructional background and administrative expertise made him well-suited for the appointment.
He stated Adamu obtained a Bachelor of Education diploma from the University of Abuja between 2009 and 2014 and had expertise in each the personal and public sectors.
The affiliation additionally expressed confidence that Adamu would contribute to the administration of fundamental training within the FCT if his appointment is confirmed.
As a part of its response to the nomination, the group pledged to help Tinubu’s re-election bid and the candidacies of Senator Philip Tanimu Aduda for the FCT senatorial seat, John Gabaya for the Abuja North Federal Constituency and Danladi Chiya for the Abuja South Federal Constituency.
Billa stated the affiliation had begun grassroots mobilisation throughout the FCT to canvass help for the candidates.
