President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commiserated with Niger Republic army president General Abdourahamane Tiani over the demise of his father, Elhadji Tiani Hassane.
Elhadji Hassane died on Thursday, November 5, 2026, on the venerable age of 110.
President Tinubu mentioned the federal government and other people of the Federal Republic of Nigeria are with the folks and authorities of Niger throughout this era of mourning.
“The passing of a father brings a profound and deeply personal grief,” the President wrote, urging his Nigerien counterpart to take solace in the truth that his father made a big impact within the lives of his folks and lived to the exceptional age of 110 years.
President Tinubu remarked: “In this second of mourning, I pray that you will see solace within the enduring legacy of religion, honour, and integrity that your father leaves behind, and within the data that his lengthy and fulfilled life was a blessing to all who knew him.
“Nigeria stands in solidarity with Your Excellency and the Government and people of the Republic of Niger during this period of grief.”
President Tinubu prayed that Almighty Allah (SWT), in His infinite mercy, would grant the deceased Al-Jannah Firdaus and luxury all these he left behind.
