Operatives of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Police Command have arrested a suspect allegedly impersonating a Permanent Secretary hooked up to the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF.
The suspect was arrested on October 20, 2026, after police operatives intercepted a Lexus LX570 SUV bearing a fake Presidency number plate in Maitama District, Abuja.
The Police Public Relations Officer of the command, SP Josephine Adeh, disclosed this in an announcement issued on Thursday.
Adeh added that though the suspect claimed to be the official holder of the number plate, additional investigations established that the registration paperwork have been cast.
The police spokesperson mentioned the suspect was additionally discovered to have allegedly impersonated a Permanent Secretary hooked up to the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
