The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, has accepted to function patron of Women of Influence for Tinubu 2027, a gaggle supporting President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid.
Idris disclosed this in a publish by way of social media on Friday, October 23, following a courtesy go to by the group to him in Abuja.
The delegation was led by the group’s National Convener, Hauwa Farouk Ibrahim, who offered the organisation’s request for the minister to develop into its patron.

“I commended the group for its commitment to grassroots mobilisation and public enlightenment, noting that women are indispensable partners in advancing national development and in helping citizens understand government policies,” he wrote.
Idris urged the group to maintain its engagement with communities throughout the nation, whereas assuring its members of his assist.
“I encouraged them to sustain constructive engagement with communities across the country and assured them of my support for their work,” the minister added.
