DAILY POST had earlier reported that the Nigerian authorities confirmed a case of Ebola virus illness in the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, after a lady who not too long ago travelled to Nigeria from Uganda examined constructive for the virus.
In an emailed assertion, the Swiss international ministry mentioned the 42-year-old girl, who was born in Uganda and resides in Abuja, had been hospitalised at a non-public clinic in the Nigerian capital for a few week after growing signs.
The ministry mentioned she is believed to have contracted the virus throughout a visit to Uganda roughly two weeks earlier.
“The woman has been in a private clinic in Abuja for around a week with symptoms. She is believed to have contracted the virus whilst travelling to Uganda around two weeks ago.
“Her husband is in isolation, he has not shown any symptoms. He was travelling with his wife when she is believed to have contracted Ebola,” the assertion mentioned.
