Nigerian singer, Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, popularly referred to as Mayorkun, has shared how Davido “miraculously” messaged and signed him after snubbing him for 2 weeks.
Speaking in a current episode of the Afropolitan podcast, Mayorkun defined that he had give up his banking job after Davido promised to signal him after seeing a clip of him singing on-line, however the DMW ghosted him for 2 weeks, which left him in panic.
Mayorkun stated he resorted to in search of religious help and began going to church, trusting God to intervene.
He recalled that after main a reward and worship session within the church at some point, Davido texted him instantly and requested him to transfer into his home.
“Davido stopped replying to me for 2 weeks after I give up my banking job. I began going to church, and at some point, instantly after singing reward and worship, he texted me on WhatsApp to pack my baggage and are available to his home. It was greater than a sworn statement.
“You may not believe me but I haven’t even returned to my seat after leading the praise and worship before he messaged. I was on my way to my seat. Before then, I was in panic because I wasn’t sure whether Davido would talk to me again,” he acknowledged.
