The Lagos State APC governorship candidate, Dr Kadiri Hamzat, has assured residents of the state of their security and safety, declaring that everybody born in Lagos is entitled to the state’s safety.
Hamzat gave the reassurance through the unveiling of his manifesto, titled The Lagos Promise, on the National Theatre, Lagos, the place he emphasised that the doc contained commitments that have to be fulfilled.

The manifesto is constructed round seven pillars, represented by the seven letters within the phrase “PROMISE”, and comprises 100 pledges.
The seven pillars are:
1. P – People First
2. R – Renewal
3. O – Opportunity
4. M – Machinery of Government
5. I – Inclusion
6. S – Security and Resilience
7. E – Everyday Dignity
