Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, has pledged the help of the state for President Bola Tinubu’s 2027 re-election bid, declaring that the state is able to stand firmly with him.
Fubara made the pledge on Saturday, November 7, whereas welcoming Tinubu to Rivers State for the All Progressives Congress (APC) South-South Presidential Campaign Rally.
The governor stated Rivers State appreciated the President’s help, significantly his interventions in the course of the political disaster that rocked the state.
In a press release posted on his official X deal with, Fubara stated the state authorities and its individuals remained grateful for Tinubu’s dedication to the peace, stability and growth of Rivers State.

The governor added that the state had not forgotten the President’s help throughout its most difficult moments, assuring him of its backing forward of the 2027 presidential election.
“Rivers State has not forgotten your support in our most challenging moments. As you stood with us, we are ready to stand firmly with you as you seek a renewed mandate in 2027,” Fubara said.
He additionally reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to constructing what he described as a peaceable, stronger and extra affluent Nigeria.
“Rivers State is with you, Mr President!” the governor added.
