Nollywood actress Adunni Ade has introduced the demise of her mom, who handed away after a protracted battle with sickness.
The actress shared the information on Instagram, the place she posted images of her late mom and recollections they shared.
In an emotional tribute, Ade prayed for her mom’s forgiveness and everlasting peace, whereas asking Allah to grant her the power to deal with the loss.
She wrote: “Lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un.
“Indeed, to Allah we belong, and to Him we will return.
“With a heavy coronary heart and submission to the desire of Almighty Allah, I announce the passing of my beloved mom, who returned to her Creator after a protracted battle with sickness.
“She leaves behind her youngsters, grandchildren, sisters and family members, who will eternally maintain her reminiscence shut.
“Ya Allah, forgive her shortcomings, have mercy upon her, make her grave spacious and stuffed with gentle, and grant her Al-Jannah Firdaus. Grant us sabr and power as we navigate this painful loss. Ameen.
“Details of the funeral arrangements will be communicated in due course. Mum, I love you. May Allah grant you eternal peace and reunite us in Jannah. Ameen.”
Colleagues and followers have since shared condolence messages, expressing sympathy for the actress and praying for her household.
Ade is a Nigerian-American actress and mannequin who has labored in each English-language and Yoruba-language Nollywood productions.
