The household of veteran Nollywood actor, Chief Francis Duru, has introduced December 11, 2026, because the date for his burial in his hometown of Okai, Eziama, Isiala Mbano, Imo State.
According to the burial preparations launched by the household on Monday, actions in honour of the late actor will start with a Service of Songs and Tributes in Abuja on Wednesday, November 25, at 5:00 p.m.
The service will maintain at Family Worship Center, Idris Gidado Street, Wuye, Abuja.
A second Service of Songs and Tributes is scheduled for Thursday, December 10, on the household compound of Late Pa Theophilus Ogide Duru in Okai, Eziama, Isiala Mbano, Imo State.

The funeral service and interment will happen on the similar location on Friday, December 11.
